We’re looking for a Software Support Engineer to:
Help improve our next generation of scientific processing applications;
Deploy our software around the world on various platforms including on-premise clusters, public cloud clusters (AWS, Azure, OCI) and DUG’s HPC Cloud.

List of Responsibilities:
Providing technical support to clients using our software on various HPC platforms
Working with developers to diagnose, reproduce and solve software issues
Advocating for customers and their experience within the team
Testing new releases
Installing software on various HPC platforms
Developing and maintaining tools to make support and installation more efficient
Continuously improving support processes
Providing and receiving regular, constructive feedback to and from your peers
Requirements:
Excellent written and spoken business and technical English, suitable for working directly with clients
Caring about customer experience and satisfaction
Advanced understanding of Linux and ability to write shell scripts
Basic programming skills (Java preferred)
Impeccable professional references
A history of work in one or more of our major focus areas, such as geoscience, scientific data processing or High-Performance Computing, will be well regarded.
